    Your games have been some of the most beautiful and transformative experiences of my life, and I can’t wait to see what comes next.

    Any chance Austin Wintory might be coming back to do the soundtrack for this one?

    I absolutely love Journey and it’s one of the most beautiful games I’ve ever experienced and was wondering if we can expect any of your new games to be developed for PSVR? Your games in virtual reality would be absolutely awesome.

      @Tara:
      We don’t have any announced plans for any of our future games (including the one we’re developing now) to be PSVR (or any other VR peripheral) compatible. Regarding this, we’ll decide whether or not to make the games compatible based on if each individual game will be suitable for VR, and vice versa.

    I cannot wait for this. Journey is hands down the most surprising and wonderful game ever made. It has cross-borders and cross-age appeal. A total; stroke of genius. I love playing it as also does my 5 year old! She is excited about the images of children that seem to be a feature of the new one. if you need any beta testers let us know! πŸ™‚

    Please please please let your new game be multiplatform and available on Xbox! I have longed to play your amazing games for so long but like so many people, simply can’t afford to purchase both consoles.

    Wishing you masses of success in 2017!

    ITHANK THATGAMECOMPANY FOR JOURNEY. I’ve taken a JOURNEY atleast everyday since October 2016. To me it is a daily spiritual walk. It is like a long walk in a peaceful meadow after an arduous day. Looking forward to EXPLORE another path to a similar outcome.

    This game will be multiplatform, as we’re self-publishing it. I can’t talk about which platforms it will or won’t appear on.
    As seen in the image on the right, it will come out this year. πŸ˜€

    Only just realized that this had been revealed, as someone who’s been anticipating TGC’s next game since Journey’s release in 2012. I used to check this site at least once every few months to check if there was any new info, but I guess it’s been more than half a year this time.

    Either way, whether the game releases in 2017 or 2020, I don’t really mind as long as you take the time to create something you’re happy with πŸ™‚ I can wait.

    I recently decided to rewatch a YouTuber’s playthrough of Journey from about 3 years ago, after finishing the series, I thought, “I wonder what project, if any, TGC is working on right now?”
    Lo and behold I find my way to this website and see that you guys have had a new game in the works for a while now, and, to put it simply, I am ECSTATIC! I can’t wait to see what this next entry into TGC’s illustrious legacy holds for us, but this time, I won’t be a year and a half late playing it! I wish you the best of luck in development.

    Just learned about this now. So excited to see what the new game would be. From the teaser, I am thinking it might be a “generational” thing, like a passing of the torch from one player to another, and where death is not something to be afraid of and avoided, but rather embraced? Sorry, I’m talking nonsense here. πŸ˜€
