New Products on TGC Store And Koko Shirt Pre-Orders

Posted by on September 20th, 2012

In case you haven’t noticed, we have some new products up on our store, and now we’re opening pre-orders for the Koko/Glyph shirt again.

First up, we have a brand new Quadrilogy shirt designed by That Art Director Jacky:

Second, we have these art cards designed by Red Corner:

Finally, we’ve decided to have a reprint of the Koko/Glyph shirt.  If this run sells well enough, we’ll continue to print up more of this shirt:

Click “Read More” to see some more information on the store.

flOw, Flower, and Journey Scarves, Posters, Hoodies, Shirts:  There are currently no plans to make licensed scarves, posters, hoodies, shirts, etc.

Journey Collector’s Edition:  We are getting small numbers in stock every couple months.  You can order them from here:

Koko/Glyph Shirt in Red:  The Koko/Glyph shirt will only be available in slate grey.

Journey Soundtrack CD:  We are going to try to always have at least some in stock.  You can order them here:

The Art of Journey Book:  We’ve sold out of the art books that we had in stock, but you can get them on Amazon with Free Shipping in the U.S. and $8 for international shipping.   Here’s the link:

Signed Products:  Even though we love all of our fans, signing merchandise takes a long time.  We’ll definitely have signed merchandise in the future, but you’ll have to keep checking back on our store, Facebook, and Twitter to see when we offer signed products again.

It kind of blows that all of the great work you’ve done doesn’t totally profit you right now. It’s not fair to me that your achievements are essentially not your own.

Stephen – that’s the unfortunate side effect of ‘licensing’: a feature meant to protect artists, and ensure that THEY profit from their creation. The downside – every profit venture has to pass two tests: negotiation, and profitability. If SONY had a 200% guarantee that the cost of products was outweighed by profitability, they would go for it.

P.S. to my comment above: Sony has helped this company do what they do best: make exceptional games…and that’s not to say that some day thatgamecompany will reach a point where they can become producer AND distributor of their content and will have the freedom to license materials. As long as us fans continue to support their games, they will continue to grow.

I had popped into the store to try and find Journey Collector’s Edition, but I guess I didn’t move quite soon enough. I hope that you’ll be able to restock them, I’d love to have one :) and I’m sure they sell well enough. If you’ve already ordered the Art of Journey through bluecanvas, will you still receive it? I think I was able to pre-order it before it went out of stock.

@Stephen & dblrainbowgirl:
Yes, if it wasn’t for Sony, there would not be a PS3 version of flOw, nor would Flower or Journey exist outside of Jenova’s head.

We’ll only restock the Collector’s Edition if it doesn’t come out in Europe and Japan. And, no, they didn’t sell very well to order any more.

I’m not exactly sure what you’re getting at about Bluecanvas, but if you’ve ordered it from them, you’ll receive the book. They aren’t sold out of them.

Most likely Jenova and maybe some other people currently at the company. So, most likely Matt won’t be signing any of them.

We would have to get licensing to make Journey scarves, so it’s not really up to us whether or not scarves get made.

Your website is not as good as your game designs.

Do something about it. ;)
