flOw and Cloud fan art is somewhat hard to find, especially with all the Flower and Journey fan art that’s making the rounds, so this time we present you only with Flower and Journey art.  Without further adieu, here we go!

As seen above, we’re starting out with a Journey costume made for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion by forum user Natterforme.  Even though his computer crashed, he still remade and finished the costume for public use!  As a mod, it’s always a work in progress, so keep looking at the thread here if there are any more updates.   And click on the image after the jump to download the file:

“It’s been a while since we’ve seen a really unique application of the dark magic-fueled creation tools behind StarCraft 2, so we’re glad the video posted below could come along and decisively end our dry spell. Behold: Origins, a recreation of thatgamecompany’s microcosmic PSN title, flOw.

The game, created by Battle.net user Malu05, follows the familiar “eat or be eaten” structure of its inspiration, allowing players’ organisms to grow and gain new abilities as they consume smaller prey. It looks pretty neat and, with any luck, will be available to download when StarCraft 2 launches next week.”

From the artist: “I started making it about 6 months ago for an art class. After much thought, (and hours of Flower played) I made the decision to base it upon Flower. The landscape was created using Papier-mâché, and the Flowers were animated Origami which was added later on Adobe After Effects. The petals were also added on After Effects. I unfortunately was unable to use the official soundtrack due to the ‘bugs’ in the EU release.”

“Anyway the clouds, the wind and the whole atmosphere belong to me so much. One year before your releasedthe game I wrote an instrumental song called La nebbia, after flowr was released I wrote some lyrics inspired by the sense of freedom I felt in the game that, on the other hand, reminded of my teenage years.”
